Sterling silver chalice and paten. Chalice hallmarked for London 1873. Paten unhallmarked but tested silver. Paten has engraved "In Loving Memory Of C F Beamish June 1924" on the back, so believed to be made for the chalice at a later date. Both pieces in prestine condition.
Chalice measures approximately 17cm high, base 11cm diameter, cup 8.5cm diameter and 6cm high. Engraved with Latin all around the top of the cup. Chalice weight approximately 320 grams or 10 Troy Ounces. The paten measures approximately 16.5cm diameter and the well fits the chalice. Engraved with Latin. Paten weight approximately 240 grams or 7.5 Troy Ounces.
